Lets make some CHANGE!

Laying on of Hands – A Key to Ending Abortion
A heartfelt plea from Rudy G.
October 30, 2008

Isaiah 28 says that God will teach his people “precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little.” So let’s examine the precept of “laying on of hands,” and how it relates to waking up the Body of Christ in America to the defining abomination of our day, in order to end legalized abortion, disrupt the plans of the enemy to enslave women, and give life and hope to little babies.

The Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples to lay hands on the sick and pray for them (Mark 16). The books of Hebrews and James declare that if there were sick among the church, the sick should call for the elders of the church and let them pray over them by the laying on of hands (Hebrews 6, James 5). Certain of the church at Antioch laid hands upon and prayed over Paul and Barnabas prior to their missionary travels (Acts 13). God revealed to the Apostle Paul that one should not lay hands suddenly on another (I Timothy 5). The angel Gabriel had to physically travel to Daniel and was delayed twenty-one days by evil forces (Daniel 10). So what is the precept we must understand? Quite simply: proximity in prayer matters.

Ask yourself: Should Christians be aware of public leaders’ views on innocent babies and vote accordingly? Should Christians give time and money to ministries such as Life Centers so they can rescue abortion-minded women and their babies, and minister the gospel? Should right-minded people speak out with courage against a satanic monster like Barack-Born-Alive-Baby-Killer-Obamanation, or a professional deceiver like John-pro-abort-my-whole-career-McCain? What if you hold up signs of truth for people to see, or seek to convince women to not abort their babies? Should we do wise exploits (e.g. Colorado Personhood Amendment 48) in the name of Jesus to end both legalized barbarism and post-abortive emotional slavery? Yes, yes, yes, yes and absolutely yes. But please understand this critical and thematic point:

Voting for a major party president (in this election), giving to Life Centers (whom we love and support dearly), speaking out against supporters of postnatal born alive baby-suffocation (Obama) and unrepentant liars (McCain), holding up signs, and seeking to rescue babies, WILL NOT END LEGALIZED CHILD SACRIFICE IN AMERICA!

You, Christian, physically getting out of your house and physically driving your car and parking next to an abortion mill, and literally walking onto the public property adjacent to a place which destroys God’s little ones, to pray – this is when we begin to end legalized innocent bloodshed.

When you care more about: babies being burned with salt solution, or having their head crushed with forceps, or having their limbs pulled off, or being sucked apart by a medical vacuum; or mothers weeping in solitude every year “the date” rolls around or grieving when they see a child “that age,” or abortion doctors who will pierce Hell at terminal velocity when they die, than you care about: being seen at an abortion clinic and looking fanatical, or watching the pre-game analysis, or keeping false-peace in your household, or offending someone close to you who either supports child killing or who is sadly post-abortive, or whatever other reason you manufacture by which to justify apathy for this Mother-Baby Holocaust; ultimately when you love God MORE than yourself, your calling, your ministry, or your image to others, this is when legalized abortion will start to end, because God will give you HIS heart for the pre-born, their moms, and even those who foolishly and wickedly promote such carnage. When multiplied prayers, voices, tears, cries, shouts and faces to the ground in silent supplication fill the easements and pavement next to abortion clinics, then we will reach the heaven of heavens with anointed power.

In closing, there is a reason why physically praying outside of abortion clinics matters so much. When God’s people gather together around an object of prayer and cry out to Him, God is given place to operate (Psalm 28:5). For the same reason we physically move toward an object of prayer, in the laying on of hands, we must physically move toward these (babies, moms, and abortionists) objects of prayer, because proximity in prayer matters. So find a handful of likeminded believers, and go pray outside of a Death Center unto Jesus our Only Mediator and Great High Priest (I Tim 5:2, Heb 4:14). Someday you might discover that God was sending angels to war, wisdom to leaders, boldness to pastors, courage to saints; hope to those enslaved, feet to those ready to perish, and light to scatter darkness.

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16

Yeah, Baaabeee! Get em' fired up! Prayer is SOOOOO powerful!! Our most powerful tool. And then reaching out in love one person at a time. And then making sure we have the right legislators.

I'm tired of people saying it's not an issue we can do anything about. So, why bother? What if David had said that when facing Goliath!

I'm proud of you for sticking up for those precious precious babies in such a bold way.

I was talking with my 13 year old son the other day about partial-birth abortion. And he said, "Everyone should be against it." Yeah, but they're not.
But until this nation's heart changes......
