for the boys...

The other night I was finishing up some dresses and I tried them on the boys to double check the sizes. Oliver did not want to take his off. He thought it was a cape. So, in order to get him to cooperate, I had him help me pick out fabric for his "super bunny" cape. (from Max and Ruby cartoon...) And I whipped this up for him. (Please excuse the poor photographs, they were taken at night.) He wanted to sleep in it! My heart was so happy. I didn't let him sleep in it, for fear that he would strangle himself. Also, recognize that red velvet fabric? It was the cover on "Eunice" the chair. Be green, reduce, reuse, recycle!


This is my new Mei Tai baby carrier! These are super expensive to purchase, so I made one Saturday night. I wanted to have it to carry Liam in at the parade. I ended up putting him in the stroller. Oliver was on the ground anyway. Also, Liam was eating a sucker and I just knew that would end up in my hair. I used the pattern from Beth. It was much easier than I thought it would be. I am still trying to get used to putting him in it by myself. :) That is a challenge.
